1. You love indie games
Indie games are created by small businesses. Like many small businesses we aren’t backed by anyone except our credit cards. That gives us immense freedoms to respond to our players and create unique experiences. Not only that, continued support of indie games means you’ll see more Limbos, Minecrafts, and SpaceChems in the world. And who wouldn’t want that?
2. You want more steampunk worlds to explore
There are thousands of different steampunk settings to explore and we’re just scratching the surface. We’re creating one new world inspired by the hopes of interstellar travel in the 1920s. A time where we just discovered “canals” on mars and dreamed of visiting other planets.
3. You want in-depth tactical gameplay
There are a bunch of games out there that involve naval combat, but so many of them are either too rule bound or secondary to the main gameplay. The latter type of game means that the developers didn’t have time or energy to fully develop the gameplay. We’re focused on designing naval combat that doesn’t get old and has many different ways to approach the situation.
4. You believe in equal representation
This really shouldn’t be an issue to write about. It shouldn’t be on a list and I personally hate having to even mention it. We’re in the 21st century and our books, games, and movies should show an accurate representation of all walks of life and their ability to heroes or villains. Unfortunately that’s not the case and if we can’t make “big” media see the value of equality we have to make them.
5. You like Witty single player story-lines
We don’t take ourselves too seriously when it comes to story but we really want engaging and light hearted energy. We’ve crafted and edited our story to be exactly that.
6. You want to create a personal airship
Customize, paint, and decal your own airship. Take ownership over the design and innovate on some of the classic ship-of-the-line styles. The more support we get the better we can design an awesome cloud-dock to create awesome ships.
